Benrinnes
The Benrinnes Distillery is found at the foot of the Benrinnes mountain range about 3 miles from Aberlour. The Distillery has been around since 1835 and is the second Benrinnes distillery to sit on the site. The first distillery was destroyed by a flood in 1829. Benrinnes used to use a triple distillation process but stopped in 2007 and went back to the traditional two distillations. The distillery produces around about 2,500,000 litres a year and is owned by Diageo.
It does not have an official single malt bottling but it can be found by some independent bottlers. House Style: Big, creamy, smoky, long. Restorative or after dinner.
