Tri Carragh’s Inchgower 16 Year Old Single Malt hails from the heart of Speyside, distilled on June 16, 2008, and matured in a first-fill bourbon barrel before its rerack in November 2023. Bottled at a bold 51.7% ABV, this limited release of only 221 bottles showcases the character of Inchgower through the lens of carefully chosen oak and patient aging. The single cask approach enhances its complexity, giving collectors and enthusiasts something truly distinctive.

The whisky opens with bright, creamy vanilla layered over buttercream, peach, and orange zest, laced with the subtle green edge of fresh grass and toffee apples. The palate bursts with tropical sweetness—think ripe cantaloupe dusted with Demerara sugar—before warming spices of cinnamon and cardamom rise gently. A splash of water mellows the strength and shifts the focus to sponge cake slathered in vanilla icing, soft caramac, fudge, and ice cream kissed with caramel.

Best enjoyed with a dash of water to open up its dessert-like softness, this Speyside dram is smooth yet vibrant, balancing indulgent sweetness with just enough spice to intrigue. Whether savored slowly or shared on a special occasion, the Tri Carragh Inchgower 16 Year Old is an exceptional expression that captures the distillery’s finesse in a richly textured pour.

LoveScotch Shipping & Returns FAQ

1. Do I need to be home to sign for my order?

Yes. Federal law requires an adult signature (21+ years old) for all alcohol deliveries. Couriers will check ID at the time of delivery. If no adult is available, the package may be returned. No exceptions can be made.

2. How long does it take to process and ship my order?

  • Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday.
  • Please allow up to 3 business days for processing.
  • Saver shipping (where available) takes 5–7 days to receive local carrier tracking, and delivery is typically 5–7 business days after tracking is assigned.
  • Ground shipping times are estimates only and not guaranteed by the couriers.
  • We are unable to guarantee a specific delivery date.

3. What happens if delivery is unsuccessful?

The carrier will attempt delivery three times before returning the order.

  • Additional delivery attempts require an extra delivery fee.
  • Orders returned due to incorrect addresses, failed delivery attempts, or recipient refusal will be refunded minus a 20% restocking fee and shipping charges.

4. Can shipments be delayed due to weather?

Yes. Wine and delicate products are weather sensitive. To prevent heat or freeze damage, shipments may be delayed at LoveScotch’s discretion.

  • LoveScotch is not responsible for wine damage caused by ground couriers.

5. Can you ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO, or freight forwarders?

No. We are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes, Army Post Offices (APO), Fleet Post Offices (FPO), or freight forwarding companies.

6. Do you ship bottles in original packaging?

Not always. Bottles are not guaranteed to arrive in original packaging unless specifically requested.

  • If original packaging is required, please add a note to your order.
  • Additional shipping fees may apply for packaging requests.

7. What is your return policy?

Due to state regulations, alcohol returns are only accepted if the product is spoiled.

  • If a bottle is significantly damaged during transit, LoveScotch will refund or replace it. Please email hello@lovescotch.com with photos of the damaged product and packaging.
  • All bottles are inspected before shipping.
  • Images on the website are illustrative only. Product editions, batches, or packaging may vary unless specifically stated in the product description.
  • Engraved bottles are non-refundable unless damaged. If returned after failed delivery attempts, the customer will not receive a refund and will incur a secondary return shipping fee.
