Talisker 'Special Release 2024 8 Year Natural Cask Strength' Single Malt Scotch hails from the windswept Isle of Skye, a region famed for producing bold maritime whiskies. This special eight-year-old expression is part of the Diageo Special Releases 2024 and was finished in stone-spun and lightly re-toasted casks, showcasing the unique coastal character Talisker is known for. Bottled at a potent 58.7% ABV, this cask strength release presents the distillery's raw essence with an intense and uncompromising flavor profile.

On the palate, you'll first experience waves of orchard fruits, with notes of pear and apple mingling seamlessly with the briny elements of seaweed. As the whisky develops, Talisker's signature pepper and spice come through, adding warmth and complexity, while a subtle undercurrent of maritime smoke lingers on the finish. The combination of these flavors, alongside its full-bodied texture, gives it a beautifully layered profile that evokes the wildness of the Scottish coast.

Whether enjoyed neat or with a splash of water to unlock its depth, this single malt is an adventurous expression of Talisker’s elemental nature. Its high ABV and coastal intensity make it an exceptional choice for fans of robust, smoky Scotch, offering a true taste of the Isle of Skye in every sip.

1. Do I need to be home to sign for my order?

Yes. Federal law requires an adult signature (21+ years old) for all alcohol deliveries. Couriers will check ID at the time of delivery. If no adult is available, the package may be returned. No exceptions can be made.

  • Ground shipping times are estimates only and not guaranteed by the couriers.
  • We are unable to guarantee a specific delivery date.

3. What happens if delivery is unsuccessful?

The carrier will attempt delivery three times before returning the order.

  • Additional delivery attempts require an extra delivery fee.
  • Orders returned due to incorrect addresses, failed delivery attempts, or recipient refusal will be refunded minus a 20% restocking fee and shipping charges.

4. Can shipments be delayed due to weather?

Yes. Wine and delicate products are weather sensitive. To prevent heat or freeze damage, shipments may be delayed at LoveScotch’s discretion.

  • LoveScotch is not responsible for wine damage caused by ground couriers.
