Robert Scott has been immersed in the Scotch Whisky trade since he left school at the age of 16. Starting first as a lowly distillery worker responsible for cleaning the stills, he rose steadily through the ranks, gaining extensive knowledge of the distilling trade. By the time he had reached his 32nd birthday not only had he gained an enviable reputation as an accomplished all-rounder in whisky production but, most importantly, he had become one of the most respected "nosers" of Scotch Whiskies.
As time passed, he became increasingly expert at selecting different malts to meet the demands of his exacting employer Mr. George Christie, founder of the Speyside Distillery. In the 1970s Robert Scott was appointed Master Distiller, a position he held in the finest traditions of this ancient craft until retirement beckoned. Prior to caring full time for his garden in Glasgow, Robert was, however, to be given one final assignment, namely to create a personal selection of his favorite single malt whiskies. Thus Scott's Selection was born.
The selection criteria are drastic, from the choice of the malt to the optimal maturation time for each cask;
The aim of this collection is to bottle whiskies as close as possible from their original taste in the cask. Whiskies are filtered (but not chill filtered) before bottling, which removes the impurities without changing the taste. The malts are not diluted. All the whiskies from this selection are bottled at cask strength.

1. Do I need to be home to sign for my order?
Yes. Federal law requires an adult signature (21+ years old) for all alcohol deliveries. Couriers will check ID at the time of delivery. If no adult is available, the package may be returned. No exceptions can be made.
2. How long does it take to process and ship my order?
- Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday.
- Please allow up to 3 business days for processing.
- Saver shipping (where available) takes 5–7 days to receive local carrier tracking, and delivery is typically 5–7 business days after tracking is assigned.
- Ground shipping times are estimates only and not guaranteed by the couriers.
- We are unable to guarantee a specific delivery date.
3. What happens if delivery is unsuccessful?
The carrier will attempt delivery three times before returning the order.
- Additional delivery attempts require an extra delivery fee.
- Orders returned due to incorrect addresses, failed delivery attempts, or recipient refusal will be refunded minus a 20% restocking fee and shipping charges.
4. Can shipments be delayed due to weather?
Yes. Wine and delicate products are weather sensitive. To prevent heat or freeze damage, shipments may be delayed at LoveScotch’s discretion.
- LoveScotch is not responsible for wine damage caused by ground couriers.
5. Can you ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO, or freight forwarders?
No. We are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes, Army Post Offices (APO), Fleet Post Offices (FPO), or freight forwarding companies.
6. Do you ship bottles in original packaging?
Not always. Bottles are not guaranteed to arrive in original packaging unless specifically requested.
- If original packaging is required, please add a note to your order.
- Additional shipping fees may apply for packaging requests.
7. What is your return policy?
Due to state regulations, alcohol returns are only accepted if the product is spoiled.
- If a bottle is significantly damaged during transit, LoveScotch will refund or replace it. Please email hello@lovescotch.com with photos of the damaged product and packaging.
- All bottles are inspected before shipping.
- Images on the website are illustrative only. Product editions, batches, or packaging may vary unless specifically stated in the product description.
- Engraved bottles are non-refundable unless damaged. If returned after failed delivery attempts, the customer will not receive a refund and will incur a secondary return shipping fee.

1. What is your flat rate shipping policy?
We offer a $19.95 flat rate shipping for up to 3 bottles to the following states:
- Arizona (AZ)
- California (CA)
- Colorado (CO)
- Idaho (ID)
- Nevada (NV)
- New Mexico (NM)
- Oregon (OR)
- Washington (WA)
For all other states we ship to (excluding Alaska and Hawaii), the flat rate is $24.95.
2. Do you ship to all U.S. states?
No. Due to local laws and carrier restrictions, we are currently unable to ship alcohol to the following states:
- Illinois
- Iowa
- Kentucky
- Kansas
- Massachusetts
- Mississippi
- New Hampshire
- Pennsylvania
- Tennessee
- Utah
3. Are there exceptions to the flat rate shipping?
Yes. The flat rate option may not apply to certain ZIP codes within states we service. This is due to higher delivery rates set by shipping companies in specific areas.
