Rare Character, who has quickly rose to prominence in the American Whiskey world, just introduced Fortuna Barrel Proof. Fortuna Barrel Proof is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and was meticulously blended by Chad Watson, also known as @MyDailyBourbon.This release features a minimum of 7 Year Old Kentucky Bourbons and is, obviously, bottled at cask strength. The new barrel proof offering from Fortuna was blended into five batches and seeks to pay homage to the late 19th-century heritage of Fortuna. Fortuna Barrel Proof promises to deliver a robust and unparalleled whiskey experience for those lucky enough to land a bottle.

I wanted this to be something that fans of the standard offering, fans of Rare Character, and just whiskey fans in general could enjoy. Each batch is different and blended to be its own unique profile – I spent many hours and days getting them right where I wanted them and I can assure that there is something for everyone.

LoveScotch Shipping & Returns FAQ
1. Do I need to be home to sign for my order?
Yes. Federal law requires an adult signature (21+ years old) for all alcohol deliveries. Couriers will check ID at the time of delivery. If no adult is available, the package may be returned. No exceptions can be made.
2. How long does it take to process and ship my order?
- Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday.
- Please allow up to 3 business days for processing.
- Saver shipping (where available) takes 5–7 days to receive local carrier tracking, and delivery is typically 5–7 business days after tracking is assigned.
- Ground shipping times are estimates only and not guaranteed by the couriers.
- We are unable to guarantee a specific delivery date.
3. What happens if delivery is unsuccessful?
The carrier will attempt delivery three times before returning the order.
- Additional delivery attempts require an extra delivery fee.
- Orders returned due to incorrect addresses, failed delivery attempts, or recipient refusal will be refunded minus a 20% restocking fee and shipping charges.
4. Can shipments be delayed due to weather?
Yes. Wine and delicate products are weather sensitive. To prevent heat or freeze damage, shipments may be delayed at LoveScotch’s discretion.
- LoveScotch is not responsible for wine damage caused by ground couriers.
5. Can you ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO, or freight forwarders?
No. We are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes, Army Post Offices (APO), Fleet Post Offices (FPO), or freight forwarding companies.
6. Do you ship bottles in original packaging?
Not always. Bottles are not guaranteed to arrive in original packaging unless specifically requested.
- If original packaging is required, please add a note to your order.
- Additional shipping fees may apply for packaging requests.
7. What is your return policy?
Due to state regulations, alcohol returns are only accepted if the product is spoiled.
- If a bottle is significantly damaged during transit, LoveScotch will refund or replace it. Please email hello@lovescotch.com with photos of the damaged product and packaging.
- All bottles are inspected before shipping.
- Images on the website are illustrative only. Product editions, batches, or packaging may vary unless specifically stated in the product description.
- Engraved bottles are non-refundable unless damaged. If returned after failed delivery attempts, the customer will not receive a refund and will incur a secondary return shipping fee.

1. What is your flat rate shipping policy?
We offer a $19.95 flat rate shipping for up to 3 bottles to the following states:
- Arizona (AZ)
- California (CA)
- Colorado (CO)
- Idaho (ID)
- Nevada (NV)
- New Mexico (NM)
- Oregon (OR)
- Washington (WA)
For all other states we ship to (excluding Alaska and Hawaii), the flat rate is $24.95.
2. Do you ship to all U.S. states?
No. Due to local laws and carrier restrictions, we are currently unable to ship alcohol to the following states:
- Illinois
- Iowa
- Kentucky
- Kansas
- Massachusetts
- Mississippi
- New Hampshire
- Pennsylvania
- Tennessee
- Utah
3. Are there exceptions to the flat rate shipping?
Yes. The flat rate option may not apply to certain ZIP codes within states we service. This is due to higher delivery rates set by shipping companies in specific areas.
