Product Description
Shipping & Return

Antinori Pèppoli Chianti Classico 2023 hails from the rolling hills of Tuscany, Italy, a region steeped in winemaking tradition. Produced under the prestigious DOCG classification, this vintage captures the essence of Chianti Classico with a blend led by Sangiovese and complemented by other native varieties. The 2023 growing season brought cool, rainy spring months followed by a hot, dry summer, fostering a balanced vegetative cycle and an ideal ripening period that culminated in a carefully timed harvest between mid-September and early October.

Crafted through temperature-controlled fermentation and aged in large Slavonian oak barrels with a touch of barrique and stainless steel, this wine preserves its vibrant character. The result is a bright ruby red Chianti with a floral bouquet of violets, lavender, and dog rose, lifted by vivid aromas of wild strawberries, currants, and raspberry purée. On the palate, it is fresh and refined, offering energetic red fruit flavors and finishing with a savory depth, soft tannins, and a vibrant, lingering finish.

Antinori Pèppoli 2023 is best enjoyed slightly below room temperature and pairs effortlessly with roasted meats, herbed poultry, and aged cheeses. With an alcohol content of 13.5%, it remains lively and approachable, perfect for both casual dinners and celebratory occasions. This release continues the legacy begun in 1985, embodying the fruit-forward elegance and regional authenticity that define the Chianti Classico identity.

LoveScotch Shipping & Returns FAQ

1. Do I need to be home to sign for my order?

Yes. Federal law requires an adult signature (21+ years old) for all alcohol deliveries. Couriers will check ID at the time of delivery. If no adult is available, the package may be returned. No exceptions can be made.

2. How long does it take to process and ship my order?

  • Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday.
  • Please allow up to 3 business days for processing.
  • Saver shipping (where available) takes 5–7 days to receive local carrier tracking, and delivery is typically 5–7 business days after tracking is assigned.
  • Ground shipping times are estimates only and not guaranteed by the couriers.
  • We are unable to guarantee a specific delivery date.

3. What happens if delivery is unsuccessful?

The carrier will attempt delivery three times before returning the order.

  • Additional delivery attempts require an extra delivery fee.
  • Orders returned due to incorrect addresses, failed delivery attempts, or recipient refusal will be refunded minus a 20% restocking fee and shipping charges.

4. Can shipments be delayed due to weather?

Yes. Wine and delicate products are weather sensitive. To prevent heat or freeze damage, shipments may be delayed at LoveScotch’s discretion.

  • LoveScotch is not responsible for wine damage caused by ground couriers.

5. Can you ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO, or freight forwarders?

No. We are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes, Army Post Offices (APO), Fleet Post Offices (FPO), or freight forwarding companies.

6. Do you ship bottles in original packaging?

Not always. Bottles are not guaranteed to arrive in original packaging unless specifically requested.

  • If original packaging is required, please add a note to your order.
  • Additional shipping fees may apply for packaging requests.

7. What is your return policy?

Due to state regulations, alcohol returns are only accepted if the product is spoiled.

  • If a bottle is significantly damaged during transit, LoveScotch will refund or replace it. Please email hello@lovescotch.com with photos of the damaged product and packaging.
  • All bottles are inspected before shipping.
  • Images on the website are illustrative only. Product editions, batches, or packaging may vary unless specifically stated in the product description.
  • Engraved bottles are non-refundable unless damaged. If returned after failed delivery attempts, the customer will not receive a refund and will incur a secondary return shipping fee.
