Tweeddale
Tweeddale is a Scotch whisky brand with a rich history dating back to the 19th century in Scotland. Originally founded by Richard Day in the 1820s, the brand became known for its high-quality blended Scotch whiskies. The original Tweeddale blend was produced until the 1940s when the family-owned business ceased operations.
In 2009, Alasdair Day, the great-grandson of Richard Day, revived the brand using his ancestor’s original blending book. The modern Tweeddale whiskies honor traditional methods while bringing a contemporary touch. The brand offers a range of small-batch blends and single malts, often aged in a variety of cask types to enhance complexity and depth. Tweeddale is respected for its craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the seamless blending of old and new whisky-making traditions.
