Mont-Redon
Mont-Redon is a prestigious winery located in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape region of the Rhône Valley, France. With a winemaking heritage dating back to 1344, it is one of the oldest and most respected estates in the area. The estate spans over 100 hectares of vineyards planted on the region’s iconic galets roulés, large round stones that retain heat and contribute to the unique terroir of its wines.
Château Mont-Redon is renowned for its Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines, crafted from traditional Rhône grape varieties such as Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre. These wines are known for their powerful structure, rich flavors of black fruit, herbs, and spices, and a distinct minerality from the stony soils. In addition to its reds, the estate also produces elegant white wines that showcase freshness and complexity with notes of citrus, white flowers, and a touch of honey.
As a family-run winery with a deep respect for tradition, Mont-Redon combines centuries-old practices with modern techniques to produce wines of exceptional quality. Their offerings are highly regarded for their balance, aging potential, and ability to express the character of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape terroir.
