Mizu
Mizu is a brand of premium Japanese spirits, notably known for its artisanal shochu. Crafted with traditional methods, Mizu Shochu is made from select ingredients such as barley, rice, and sweet potatoes, depending on the variety. The production process involves fermenting the base ingredient with koji mold, followed by a single distillation, which helps preserve the unique flavors and characteristics of the raw materials.
Mizu Shochu is celebrated for its clean, smooth taste and versatility. It can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or used as a base for cocktails. The brand emphasizes quality and authenticity, offering a range of shochus that showcase different flavor profiles—from light and floral to rich and earthy. Mizu has gained a following both in Japan and internationally, appealing to those seeking a refined and authentic Japanese drinking experience.
