Littlemill
Littlemill is a historic Scottish whisky distillery known for producing some of the oldest and rarest single malt Scotch whiskies. Located in Bowling, West Dunbartonshire, it was established in 1772, making it one of Scotland's oldest distilleries. Despite its long history, the distillery ceased operations in 1994, and a fire destroyed much of the remaining buildings in 2004.
Littlemill whiskies are highly sought after by collectors and connoisseurs due to their rarity and the distillery's storied past. The single malts from Littlemill are often noted for their light, floral, and fruity character, with a delicate balance of sweetness and subtle complexity. The limited releases that still surface today are celebrated for their unique profile and serve as a nostalgic nod to a significant piece of Scotland's whisky heritage.
