Inglenook
Inglenook is a historic winery in Napa Valley, California, founded in 1879 by Finnish sea captain Gustave Niebaum. Renowned for its high-quality wines, Inglenook quickly became one of America's most prestigious wineries. The estate spans over 1,700 acres, with vineyards in some of Napa Valley's most prized terroirs, particularly known for its exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as Merlot, Syrah, and Zinfandel.
In 1975, film director Francis Ford Coppola acquired Inglenook, dedicating himself to restoring the estate and its winemaking legacy. Under Coppola's ownership, Inglenook has combined modern winemaking techniques with traditional methods, producing wines that continue to reflect the estate's historic excellence. Today, Inglenook stands as a symbol of American winemaking, celebrated for its rich history and commitment to quality.
