Glen Mhor
Glen Mhor was a Scottish distillery located in Inverness, in the Highlands, that operated from 1892 until it closed in 1983. Although the distillery was relatively short-lived compared to some others, it was well-regarded for producing high-quality single malt whiskies. Glen Mhor's whisky style was known for its smooth, well-balanced character, often exhibiting rich, malty sweetness with hints of dried fruits, vanilla, and oak, as well as subtle spices.
Since the distillery’s closure, the whiskies from Glen Mhor have become increasingly rare, with bottles of its single malt now highly sought after by collectors and whisky enthusiasts. The brand’s limited availability and its rich heritage make Glen Mhor an intriguing piece of Scottish whisky history. Today, Glen Mhor’s whiskies are typically enjoyed by those lucky enough to find them, offering a glimpse into the craftsmanship and tradition of a distillery that no longer exists.
