Founded in 1996 by Alexandre Gabriel, Citadelle is produced by Maison Ferrand in the Cognac region of France. Citadelle was one of the first modern gins to embrace a more complex, refined profile, combining traditional distillation techniques with an innovative approach to botanical selection. The gin is distilled in small copper pot stills originally used for cognac, which imparts a smooth, velvety texture to the spirit.
