Chateau de Lacquy
Château de Lacquy is one of the oldest family-owned estates in France, renowned for its exceptional production of Armagnac. Located in the heart of the Bas-Armagnac region, the château has been crafting this distinctive French brandy for over 300 years, making it one of the most prestigious producers in the area. The estate’s terroir, with its sandy soils and temperate climate, is perfect for cultivating the traditional grape varieties used in Armagnac production, such as Baco, Ugni Blanc, and Colombard.
Château de Lacquy’s Armagnacs are celebrated for their rich, complex flavors that develop over decades of aging in oak barrels. The spirits are known for their deep amber color and offer a unique balance of dried fruits, spices, vanilla, and oak, with a smooth, lingering finish. Each vintage is crafted with careful attention to tradition, using time-honored distillation methods that give the Armagnacs their distinct character and finesse. The estate produces a range of expressions, from younger, vibrant blends to rare, decades-old vintages, catering to both connoisseurs and collectors of fine brandy.
