Founded in 2012 by Jason Barrett, Black Button Distilling is the first grain-to-glass craft distillery in New York since prohibition.

As a certified New York State Farm Distillery, Black Button Distilling is committed to crafting high-quality, small-batch spirits using a unique combination of pot and column distilling methods that ensure a product purity not matched by major liquor manufacturers.

All their corn, wheat, rye and barley are locally sourced from Edgewood Farms in Groveland, a nearly 1,600-acre farm due south of Rochester in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York. They also source dairy cream for their famous Bespoke Bourbon Cream liqueur from New York State farms and their apple cider for their Apple Pie Moonshine from LynOaken Farms in Medina.

Recently, Black Button Distilling’s master distillers Jeff Fairbrother and Jason Barrett, in recognition of their roles in gin production, were welcomed into the Gin Guild as Warden Nominated Rectifier and Warden Rectifier respectively, the 2nd and 4th Americans to be installed in this prestigious organization.

Internationally recognized for their award-winning spirits, Black Button Distilling is one of the fastest growing distilleries in the Northeast.
