Amontillado
Amontillado is a type of Sherry, a fortified wine from southern Spain. It starts as fino or manzanilla Sherry and undergoes extra aging and oxidation, resulting in a darker color and richer flavor.
Known for its nutty aromas, flavors of almonds and dried fruits, and a hint of saltiness, Amontillado is enjoyed as an apéritif or paired with nuts, cured meats, and cheeses.
